The middle school years are an important time of discovery, growth, and preparation for the future. We believe every student has the ability to achieve their educational best. Through rigorous academics, innovative instructional strategies, extracurricular opportunities, and strong partnerships with families and the community, we strive to meet the unique needs of every learner while encouraging curiosity, leadership, and excellence.

Our Bulldog family is committed to creating a culture where students are valued, respected, and encouraged to take ownership of their learning. We celebrate individual differences, promote positive character, and hold ourselves accountable to high expectations for student achievement and success.

As part of the DeSoto County School District, we proudly embrace the belief that We are #OneDeSoto, all for kids. Together with our families and community partners, DeSoto Middle School continues to build strong foundations, inspire future leaders, and prepare students for the opportunities ahead.
